DRDO Recruitment 2022 for Junior Research Fellow: Check Qualification and How to Apply
DRDO Recruitment 2022: Centre for High Energy Systems & Sciences (CHESS), Hyderabad, a premier Centre of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), invites applications for hiring young and meritorious Indian nationals, who desire to pursue defense-related research as Junior Research Fellow. There are 07 vacancies for this job. The number of posts may increase or decrease without prior notice. The monthly remuneration paid is Rs. 31000. The maximum age limit for DRDO Job Vacancy is 28 years. As mentioned in the official notification, Screening of the applications will be carried out by a duly constituted Screening Committee and the shortlisted candidates will have interviewed through a web-based video conference over the internet, the date and time of an online interview for the DRDO Recruitment 2022 will be intimated beforehand the URL link via email.
As per the DRDO Recruitment 2022, interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of DRDO. Candidates are required to bring a signed printout of the application along with the originals of the documents submitted online at the time of joining at CHESS, Hyderabad. The last date for the receipt of the application is 21 days from the date of advertisement in Rozgar Samachar/Employment News, Applications submitted or delivered after the deadline will not be accepted, so be sure to apply early to prevent having your application rejected.
JRF (Mechanical Engineering)
As per the DRDO Official notification, the candidate should have a Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B.E / B.Tech) in the relevant subject in the first division with NET/GATE
OR
Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (M.E/M. Tech in relevant subject with first division at both Graduate and post Graduate Level.
JRF (Electrical Engineering)
As per the DRDO Official notification, the candidate should have a Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B.E /B.Tech) in a relevant subject in first division with NET/GATE

Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (M.E/M. Tech in a relevant subject with first division at both Graduate and Post Graduate Levels.
JRF (Physics/Applied Optics/Laser Technology, Laser, Opto-Electronics)
As per the DRDO Official notification, the candidate should have a Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in a relevant subject in first division with NET/GATE

Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B.E /B.Tech) in first division with NET/GATE
OR
Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (M.E/M. Tech in relevant subject with first division at both Graduate and post Graduate Level).
JRF (Chemical Engineering /Chemistry)
As per the DRDO Official notification, the candidate should have a Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in a relevant subject in first division with NET/GATE

Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B.E/B.Tech) in first division with NET/GATE
OR
Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (M.E/ M. Tech) in relevant subject with first division at both Graduate and Post Graduate Level).
JRF (Computer Science)
As per the DRDO Official notification, the candidate should have a Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in a relevant subject in first division with NET/GATE

Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B.E/B.Tech) in first division with NET/GATE
OR
Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (M.E/M. Tech in relevant subject with first division at both Graduate and Post Graduate Level)
The upper age limit to apply for the post is 28 years. The upper age limit is relaxable to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and OBC as per government of India orders.

As mentioned in the official notification candidates will be stipend Rs. 31000 per month (HRA as admissible as per rule) for a maximum period of two years (extendable as per rules for JRF, subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed by a committee).
As per the DRDO notification, Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of DRDO. Screening of the applications will be carried out by a duly constituted Screening Committee and the shortlisted candidates will have interviewed through a web-based video conference over the internet, the date and time of the online interview will be intimated beforehand with the URL link via email. Therefore, the candidates should possess an active email ID and check the same periodically till the selection process is completed. Only candidates shortlisted by the Screening Committee will receive communication for the further selection procedures. Canvassing in any form will result in the disqualification of candidature. Selection shall not be claimed by any candidate as a matter of right. The selection shall be entirely at the discretion of the Selection Committee of the Laboratory which may refuse to admit any candidate without assigning any reason thereof. Note- Candidates working in Govt./Public sector undertaking/Autonomous Bodies should possess ‘No Objection Certificate”. If selected, such candidates shall be required to submit relieving order from their employer before joining as mentioned in the official DRDO Recruitment 2022 notification.
