DRDO Recruitment 2022 for Walk in Interview, Check Post, Qualification, Pay Scale, and Other Details
DRDO Recruitment 2022: Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi, a premier Institute of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications from young and meritorious Indian nationals, who desire to pursue defense-related research as Research Associates (RA) & Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the subject.
The Age-Limit of candidates will be 35 years for RA & 28 years for JRF as of the date of the interview. The upper age limit shall be relaxable to the candidates belonging to SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years). Reporting time is 08:00 – 09:30 hrs on the date of the Interview, at Main Gate Reception, INMAS, Timarpur, Delhi. Latecomers will not be allowed at any cost. Written Tests may be conducted for JRFs from 09:30-10:30 hrs. (Depending on the number of candidates appearing on the date of the interview) and only qualified candidates will be interviewed on the same day. Application forms can be downloaded from the website www.drdo.gov.in and should be brought duly filled along with complete bio-data on the date of the interview. (Candidates willing to participate may send prior information by email to [email protected], but application forms should be submitted at the time of the walk-in interview).
How to reach the venue of the Interview:
INMAS has located 1 km from Vishwavidyalaya Metro station, Delhi towards the Timarpur area/Opposite to University of Delhi (North Campus) & Nearest Land Mark is SBI ATM SSPL Branch, Timarpur, Delhi-110054.
The Last Date for the walk-in Interviews is 22 Dec 2022 (Thursday).
DRDO Research Associate (RA) – 01
DRDO Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) – 02

RA
Essential Qualification:
Ph.D. * in Life Sciences
Desirable Qualification:
Candidates with the following research experience will be given preference:
1. Proficient in Neurobiology or Behavioral Neuroscience
2. Experience in experimental animals handling and biofluid withdrawal
3. Rodent survival surgery, stereotactic intracranial electrode implantation, biopotential recording, and analysis
4. Proven experience in Rodent Brain Histology, stereological analysis, and Immunohistochemistry
5. Mice Behavioral analysis and knowledge of biostatistics.
JRF – 01
Essential Qualifications:
First Class M.Sc. with NET (JRF/LS) in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Medical Physics/Nuclear Medicine Physics
Or
First Class B.Tech with valid GATE score in Applied Physics/Engineering Physics
Or
M.E./M.Tech in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Engineering Physics with First Class at Graduate and Post Graduate level (M.E./M. Tech. is exempted from NET/GATE as per guidelines.)
Desirable Qualification:
i. Specialisation/work experience in Nuclear/ Radiological/Medical/Computational physics or Post M.Sc. diploma in Radiological Physics from AERB recognized Institute/University
ii. Experience/knowledge of programming languages (C++, Python, MATLAB) and Operating system Linux
iii. Knowledge of Monte Carlo simulation of Radiation transport codes GEANT4, EGSnrc, MCNP.
JRF – 02
Essential Qualification:
First Class Bachelor in Dental Science (BDS)
Desirable Qualification:
Research work related to Implantology and Dental Materials and having valid DCI registration.
JRF
A stipend of (Rs. 31,000 + HRA)
RA
A stipend of (Rs. 54,000 + HRA)
The tenure of RA is a maximum of Two Years. The tenure of JRF is a maximum of Five Years. The candidate will work initially for the first two years as JRF and will subsequently be elevated as SRF for the remaining three years, subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed annually as per DRDO
guidelines.
