As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age limit for JRF posts is 28 years on the date of the walk-in interview. Age relaxable by 5 years will be given to SC/ST and 03 years to OBC Candidates.

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Computer Sc.
BE/B. Tech in Computer Sc in 1st Division with valid NET /GATE qualification or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Sc in 1st Division both at Graduate and Postgraduate level.
2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Mechanical Engg.
BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engg in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engg in 1st Division both at Graduate and Postgraduate level.
3. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Electronics & Communication Engg.
BE/B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engg /Electronics/Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Electronics & Telecommunication in 1st Division Communication with valid NET/GATE qualification or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics & Communication/ Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics /Electronics & Telecommunication Engg in 1st Division both at Graduate and Postgraduate level.
4. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Physics
Post Graduation in Physics in 1st Division with valid NET qualification.
The selected candidates will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 31000 plus HRA admissible as per prevailing rules.
As per DRDO Recruitment 2023 official Notification, the selected candidates tenure will be two years, which will be extended or upgradation as SRF as per government rules which shall not exceed beyond 5 years.
As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official Notification, applicants will be selected through walk-in interviews, as per the assigned Date of the Interview. Initially, the candidates will be screened with respect to eligibility criteria, and Only the screened-in
candidates will appear for an interview on the same date. 
The interview will take place at Terminal Ballistics Research Lab (TBRL), Sector 30 Chandigarh, and Work Place will be at TBRL Range, Ramgarh
