DRDO Recruitment 2023: The Defence Laboratory in Jodhpur, a material cluster laboratory of DRDO, has announced walk-in interviews for the award of Research Associates (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions for Indian nationals. As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, one RA and three JRF positions are available for candidates with specific educational qualifications and experience. The duration of the fellowship is two years, which may be extended further and upgraded to SRF as per the rules. The emolument for RA is Rs. 54,000/- p.m., while for JRF, it is Rs. 31,000/- p.m. with HRA and medical facilities as per rules. It is important to note that the offer of the fellowship does not confer on fellows any right for absorption in DRDO, and the fellowship may be terminated at any time during the tenure with prior notice of one month.
As per DRDO Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the eligibility criteria for the RA and JRF positions include specific educational qualifications, experience, and age limits. The eligible candidate can attend the walk-in interview at Defence Laboratory, Dr. DS Kothari Marg, Ratanada Palace, Ratanada, Jodhpur-342 011 (Rajasthan) at 10:00 HRS on 5th and 6th April 2023. Interested candidates are required to submit a complete Bio-Data with a recent passport-size photograph affixed on the top right corner of the first page and one set of self-attested copies of all Degrees/Academic qualification certificates/Mark sheets/Experience Certificates, etc. Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies should produce a NOC issued by the present employer.

As per DRDO Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the fellowship emoluments for the Research Associates (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions offered by Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur are provided with house rent allowance (HRA) and medical facilities as per the rules. The selected candidate for RA position will receive a monthly emolument of Rs. 54,000 for a duration of two years. Similarly, the selected candidate for the JRF position will receive a monthly emolument of Rs. 31,000 for a duration of two years, which may be extended further and upgraded to Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) as per the rules.
As per DRDO Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the maximum age limit for Research Associates (RA) is 35 years and for Junior Research Fellows (JRF) is 28 years as of the date of the interview. However, there is a relaxation in the age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH and OBC categories. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories can avail of a relaxation of up to 5 years in the maximum age limit, while candidates belonging to the OBC category can avail of a relaxation of up to 3 years in the maximum age limit. It is important to note that candidates are required to produce valid proof of their category to avail of the relaxation in the age limit.
As per DRDO Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the eligibility criteria for the Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions at Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur require specific educational qualifications and experience. For the RA position, candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Physics/Material Science or hold an ME/M.Tech degree with three years of research, teaching, and design and development experience in the field of physics/Material Science. Additionally, they must have at least one research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal.
For the JRF position, there are three vacancies available. Candidates must have a graduate degree in a professional course (B.E./B.Tech.) in Electronics/Electronics & Communication with a NET/GATE qualification and first-division marks. Alternatively, candidates with a post-graduate (M.E./M.Tech.) degree in professional courses in Electronics/Electronics & Communication in the first division both at the graduate and postgraduate level are also eligible to apply.
