DRDO Recruitment 2023: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is seeking young and meritorious Indian national aspirants to fill up the position of DRDO Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with own fellowship. The above-mentioned positions are available at the Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), Gwalior, which is s premier institute of the DRDO. As given in the Official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, there are a total of 10 vacancies for the given post. As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit is 28 years. Candidates will be appointed for a maximum of 5 years based on the candidate’s performance.
In accordance with the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 31000 per month. Applicants will be selected on the basis of Walk-in Interviews. DRDO Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Post Code 01: Candidates should have a first-class M.Sc. in Biological stream in Life Sciences/Zoology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Microbiology/Pharmacology/Toxicology/Immunology or related fields and should have qualified NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by CSIR-UGC NET JRF/LS, MHRD (GATE).
Post Code 02: Candidates must possess a first-class M.Sc. in Chemistry (Physical/Analytical/Organic/Inorganic) or related fields and should have qualified NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by CSIR-UGC NET JRF/LS, MHRD (GATE).
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with own fellowship
Post Code 01: Candidates must have a first-class M.Sc. in Biological stream in Life Sciences/Zoology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Microbiology/Pharmacology/Toxicology/Immunology with own JRF Fellowship from any approved National Agency
Post Code 02: Candidates should possess a first-class M.Sc. in Chemistry (Physical/Analytical/Organic/Inorganic) with own JRF Fellowship from any approved National Agency
As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age limit for the above-mentioned posts is 28 years. The date of reference to calculate the age is the interview date, i.e. 15th June 2023 for DRDO Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post and 16th June 2023 for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with own fellowship post. The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
According to the details given in the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs 31000. Apart from the monthly pay, the selected candidate will also receive the HRA.
As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidate will be employed for a maximum of 5 years. Candidates will initially work as a JRF for the first two years. They will be upgraded to SRF (Senior Research Fellow) for the remaining three years subject to his/her satisfactory performance.
According to the official notification for the DRDO Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of a walk-in interview. DRDO may conduct the written examination (from 11 am to 12 noon on the same day of the interview). The final selection will be made on the basis of the interview.
