DRDO India Recruitment 2023: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has notified new vacancy and is inviting applications from retired officials from Central Government/State Government /PSU/ Autonomous Bodies having sufficient experience in the functioning of Central Government Ministries /Departments for engagement as Consultants on a short-term contract basis as per Post Specific Terms of reference (TOR) for Technical Work initially for one year, extendable for a second year as decided by the competent authority.. The selected candidate will be paid a consolidated remuneration per month of Rs. 90,000.

As per DRDO Recruitment 2023 Notification, there is only one vacancy for the Post. The age of the candidate shall be below 63 years as on the closing date of applications. Qualification for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

(a) Qualification –

Essential:

The candidate should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Desirable:

He/She should hold a Post Graduate Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering from a reputed university

(b) Experience –

The candidate should have a working experience of at least 15 years in a strategic organization/lab/establishment.

He/She should have a minimum 3 years of experience at level 15 or above.

He/She should hold a minimum 10 years of experience at the senior level in conceptualization, design, development, realization, and operationalization of Weapon and Armament systems and Project management.

Remuneration for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

For the role of the consultant the consolidated remuneration per month of Rs. 90,000. The selected candidate will be appointed to the Pay Scales of Employees retired from PSUs Rs. 1,20,000 to Rs. 2,80,000.

Tenure for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

The candidate will be appointed initially for one year, extendable for a second year as decided by the competent authority.
