DRDO Recruitment 2023 for JRF: Check Eligibility, Pay Scale and How to Apply
DRDO Recruitment 2023: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is inviting eligible candidates for walk-in interviews for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to fill up 07 vacancies at the Defense Geoinfomatic Research Establishment (DGCA) in Chandigarh. According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the monthly stipend paid to the eligible candidate will be Rs. 31000 per month.
As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the eligibility criteria required for the post are different which is mentioned below detail-wise. According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit required for the post is 28 years. As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023 the tenure of the Junior Research Fellowship is initially for a period of two years or a co-terminus with the project whichever is earlier and the fellowship may be terminated at any time during the tenure with prior notice of one month.

As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the eligibility criteria required for the post are given below:-
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post:- 02
The Candidate should have BE/B. Tech in the first division in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology with
NET/GATE.
OR
The Candidate should have ME/M.Tech (Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology) in first division both at
The Candidate should have Graduate and Post Graduate levels.
Desirable:
(i) The Candidate should have Knowledge of Remote Sensing, GIS, JAVA, and Python.
(ii) The Candidate should have Web app development using React js, Noda js, Mongo DB, and hosting on a local server using a Web server.
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post:- 01
The Candidate should have M.Sc in the first division in Computational Physics/ Physics with NET/GATE. OR M.E/M.Tech in the first division in Applied Mechanics.
Desirable:
(i) The Candidate should have Candidate having knowledge of numerical modeling/simulation and coding experience
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post:- 02
The Candidate should have Post Graduate Science Degree in the first division in Remote Sensing/Geo-Informatics with NET/GATE.
OR
The Candidate should have ME or M.Tcch in the first division (both at the Graduate and Post Graduate level) in Remote Sensing/Geo-Informatics.
Desirable:
(i) The Candidate should have Good working knowledge of Different Image Processing and GIS software like QGIS, ArcGIS, ERDAS, ENVI, etc., and data analysis.
(ii) The Candidate should have Exposure to computer programming, AVMI-based analysis, and modeling.
(iii) The Candidate should have Knowledge of Computer programming: Python, Java, Matlab, etc, Al/ML-based analysis and modeling
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post:- 01
The Candidate should have M.Sc in the first division in Geology/Geophysics/Atmospheric Science with NET/GATE.
Desirable:
(i) The Candidate should have Knowledge of & GIS.
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post:- 01
The Candidate should have BE/B.Tech in the first division in Electronics with NET/GATE.
OR
The Candidate should have ME/M.Tech (Electronics) in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.
Desirable:
(i) The Candidate should have Knowledge of programming in Python.
According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the monthly stipend paid to the eligible candidate will be Rs. 31000 per month.

According to DRDO Recruitment 2023 Notification, Desirous candidates appearing for a walk-in interview are required to report at DGRE, Chandigarh as per the following schedule:
(i) Reporting time would be 08:30 AM and Applications would be accepted up to 10:00 AM.
(ii) Initial screening and verification of testimonials would be done between 10:00 – 11:00 AM on the respective interview Date.
(iii) Interview of the screened/shortlisted candidates would take place from 11:00 AM onward
