DRDO Recruitment 2024: The Defence Research and Development Authority (DRDO) is inviting willing and qualified applicants who have retired or are due to retire (within 03 months, from the date of advertisement published on the DRDO website and Employment News) from the Central Government/ Autonomous Body of Central Government for the posts of DRDO Chair, DRDO Distinguished Fellowships, and DRDO Fellowships. There are 35 vacancies available for the above-mentioned opportunities. The candidates applying for DRDO Recruitment 2024 should have a B.E./ B.Tech/ M.Sc/ PhD. The candidates selected for the post of DRDO Chairs will be given a monthly income in Pay Level 16, the candidates selected for DRDO Distinguished Fellowships will be given a monthly income in Pay Level 15 and the candidates selected for DRDO Fellowships will be entitled to the monthly income in the Pay Level 14.
According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2024, the candidates applying for the positions listed above shall be upto a maximum of 05 years after superannuation. The appointment will be executed on a contractual basis. The selected candidates will be appointed for an appropriate period of 03 years (from the date of charge assumption), the term of appointment may be extended further based on the candidate’s performance and the committee’s requirements. The selection of the applicable candidates will be done on the basis of screening of the applications submitted by the candidates. The committee will maintain a list on the basis of applications received by the committee.
