DRDO Recruitment 2024: The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Chairperson (RAC). Reffering to the official notification for DRDO Recruitment 2024, the chosen candidates will receive an amount in (Level 17 of the Pay Matrix in the 7th CPC that corresponds to the apex scale of Rs. 80000/- of the 6th CPC). The appointment will be made for 03 years or till attainment of 65 years of age, whichever is earlier. The selection process will be through a high-level Search-cum-Selection Committee appointed by the Government of India.
As shown in the official notification for DRDO Recruitment 2024, the applicants must possess Retired Scientists or Technologists or Academicians or Civil Servants retired at the level of Secretary to the govt. of India by re-employment on contract, or eminent serving scientists or officers serving at the level of Secretary to the Govt. of India are eligible to apply.
