DTU Admission 2023: Check Eligibility Parameters, Entrance Details, and How to Apply

DTU Admission 2023: Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) has released the official notification for the BA (H) Economics program at the University School of Management & Entrepreneurship (USME), East Delhi Campus. According to the official notification of the Delhi Technological University B.A. (H) Economics Admission 2023–24, admission to the above-mentioned program for the academic session 2023–24 will be based on the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The online application process for the CUET (UG) has been underway since February 9, 2023.

As per Delhi Technological University B.A.(H) Economics Admission 2023-24 official notification, prospective students must fill out the CUET (UG) form in order to become eligible for further admission process. A separate registration form will be available on the DTU’s official website for candidates willing to study the B.A. (H.) The economics program at the DTU (Delhi Technological University). Eligibility Criteria for DTU B.A.(H) Economics Admission 2023-24

According to the Delhi Technological University B.A.(H) Economics Admission 2023-24 official notification, candidates must fulfill certain eligibility criteria for being considered for admission. The detailed eligibility parameters have been mentioned below:

1. The candidate must have appeared in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023 being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
2. The candidate must have passed Mathematics as a subject in the 12th Board Examination. Those who are appearing for the 12th board examination may also apply, provided that they submit the proof of eligibility by a specific date declared by the University.
3. Candidates belonging to the General category must have scored at least 50% marks in the 12th board examination from a recognized board. Candidates from the Defence sub-category (CW) and the Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL) are given a 5% mark relaxation. Students from SC/ST and PWD (person with Disabilities) category shall receive a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum marks criterion.

As per Delhi Technological University B.A. (H) Economics Admission 2023-24 official notification, aspiring candidates must appear in the following combinations of subjects in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG for admission into the above-mentioned program:

Mathematics (Section II) + Any two other subjects from Section II + Any one language from Section IA or alternatively any one additional subject from Section II in lieu of a language from Section IA

Candidates must opt for the above four subject combinations for admission into the DTU’s BA (H) Economics course.

How to Apply for DTU B.A.(H) Economics Admission 2023-24 

According to the official notification for Delhi Technological University B.A. (H) Economics Admission 2023–24, candidates must register for the CUET UG exam and appear in the above-mentioned subject combinations, totaling four papers. Candidates can register for the CUET UG exam by visiting the official website of the NTA.

Desirous students will have to fill out a separate registration form on the official website of DTU around the time of the result declaration of the CUET UG. Without this registration, candidates cannot partake in the admission process for DTU’s BA (H) Economics program.

The last date for filing out the CUET (UG) form is March 30, 2023, up to 9:50 p.m., and the online fee can be paid up to 11:50 p.m. on the same date.
