ISRO YUVIKA 2023 Registration Started: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has begun the online application process for its unique program – Yuva Vigyani Karyakam (YUVIKA) for school students from March 20, 2023. Those interested in applying for the ISRO YUVIKA 2023 program can do their registration by visiting the official website. According to the official website, the deadline for registration to the ISRO Yuva Vigyani Karyakam YUVIKA is April 3, 2023.

YUVIKA 2023: The Indian Space Research Organization is organizing a special program for school children called the “Young Scientist Programme” “YUva VIgyani KAryakram”, YUVIKA, to impart basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science, and Space Applications to younger students in emerging trends in space science and technology amongst the youngsters, who are the future building blocks of our nation. ISRO has chalked out this program to “Catch them young”. The program is also expected to encourage more students to pursue studies or careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

ISRO YUVIKA 2023 Venue: The program will take place at seven ISRO centers. Since ISRO YUVIKA 2023 is a residential program, students must remain in the following locations till their course is completed. ISRO will pay for all course materials, lodging and boarding, and so on throughout the course.

Selection Parameters: ISRO YUVIKA 2023

Participants in YUVIKA-2023 will be chosen based on the following parameters-

• Marks obtained in Class 8 or the most recent exam (Student) –  50 %
• The score of the online quiz –  10%
• Participation in science fairs in the last three years (at the school, district, state, and national levels )  – 2/5/10 %
• Ranking in Olympiad or similar competition in the last three years (1 to 3 rank in school, district, or state ) – 2/4/5%
• Sport competition winners in the last 3 years (1 to 3 rank in School / District / State & above level ) – 2/4/5%
• Scout and Guides / NCC / NSS Member in the last three years. – 5%
• Learning in a Panchayat-based Village / Rural School. – 15%

Step 4: Complete your personal profile and education information.
