ED Attaches Bollywood Actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s Property Worth Rs 7.27 Crore

The Enforcement Directorate has attached actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s property in Mumbai worth 7 crore 27 lakhs in a money laundering case involving 200 crores. The actress was previously halted at the Mumbai airport on December 5, 2021, as she attempted to leave the country. A watch alert has been issued by the ED.

The actress was interrogated three times by the ED team. Sukesh Chandrashekhar, a gangster imprisoned in Tihar Jail, has been questioned about his relationship. The actress is also being investigated by the ED, which has a slew of evidence against her.

Conman Had a relationship with Actress Jacqueline

According to ED sources, the actress and conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar had a relationship, and he would lavish money on her like water. Chandrashekhar presented the actress with diamond and gold jewellery, as well as fine dinnerware. A horse valued at Rs 52 lakh and four Persian cats valued at Rs 9-9 lakh were also given as presents. Sukesh had made arrangements for Jacqueline to fly on many chartered flights. Chandrashekhar reportedly spent Rs 10 crore on the actress, according to ED sources.

Sukesh was also responsible for her lodging expenses

Sukesh also arranged a chartered aircraft for the actress from Delhi to Mumbai, and then from Mumbai to Chennai, according to the probe. Sukesh had also covered the actress’s bills while she was staying at five-star hotels. The ED has obtained concrete information regarding the three meetings between the two, and the actress is being questioned as a result of this. Sukesh was released on interim bail when the meeting happened.

Jacqueline was Sukesh’s girlfriend!

Sukesh also claimed to be dating Jacqueline. This assertion is backed up by photographs of each of them. Chandrashekhar and the actress are really close in these. These photographs, according to ED, depict a five-star hotel. In front of the investigating agencies, however, Jacqueline has denied any such link. Sukesh called the actress multiple times during her imprisonment in Tihar Jail, according to the probe. A team from the ED has also visited Tihar Jail after obtaining sufficient proof.

Jacqueline is the proud owner of a multi-million dollar estate. According to rumours in the media, Jacqueline owns a $ 10 million home (Rs 74 crore). A film from Jacqueline costs between 3 and 4 crores. Jacqueline’s annual revenue in 2019 was Rs 9.5 crore, according to a report. Surprisingly, none of his major pictures were released that year, with the exception of Netflix’s ‘Drive.’

This accusation has landed Sukesh Chandrashekhar in jail

Sukesh Chandrashekhar was the subject of the first FIR filed with the Delhi Police Department. In August, the Delhi EOW began looking into that FIR. The ED had opened a money laundering investigation in this instance as well. Sukesh is accused of defrauding former Ranbaxy promoters Shivinder Singh and Malvinder Singh’s spouses out of around 200 crores under the guise of helping them get out of jail. He would sometimes call himself an officer associated with the PM Office and sometimes the Ministry of Home Affairs. This fraud implicated a number of Tihar Jail personnel as well. Sukesh used to lavishly reward them all.

Sukesh’s seaside villa in Chennai was confiscated by the ED on August 24. The bungalow was confiscated with 82.5 lakh rupees, 2 kilogrammes of gold, and over 12 luxury cars.
