Empanelment of CA Firms For Tax Compliance of Chennai Port Authority

Chennai Port Authority (ChPA) is seeking online tenders from reputable Chartered Accountants firms to complete the assignment of Tax & Other Professional Services for the next two years.

• From the date stated in the Online Bid reference, the tender document can be accessed using the e-procurement method from the CHPA official website and through the e-procurement portal link.
• Two volumes (Volumes I and II) make up a single set of tender documents. Price bid documents are divided into two volumes (Technical Bid) and Volume II (Price Bid).
• The entire tender document, including the annexure, can be downloaded from the CHPA website: www.eprocure.gov.in, www.chennaiport.gov.in, and the e-procurement portal link, and submitted as a tender offer on or before the deadline.
• Otherwise, the offer (including technical and price) will be rejected as non-responsive if it is not valid for a minimum of 90 days from the last date of online submission.
• The due date and time of online submission of offers will be as indicated in the Online Bid Reference unless otherwise notified. Changes in schedules are only announced by the F.A. & CAO, Chennai Port Authority, via www.chennaiport.gov.in and the e-procurement portal link.
• If the offers are not received according to the instructions detailed here above, they shall be liable for rejection.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The Bidder must be a Chartered Accountants Partnership Firm/LLP with a registered office in India.
• As partners/members of the LLP, the Bidder must have at least 3 full-time qualified CAs.
• The Bidder should have an office in Chennai
• ICAI firms’ average annual turnover in the last three years ended 31.03.2021, not less than Rs 14,50,000 (Rupees Fourteen Lakhs Fifty Thousand only).
• During the previous five years, no authorities or statutory bodies in India should have barred, blacklisted, or rejected the bidder.
• Conflict of Interest: Currently, the bidding firm should not be working as the Internal Auditor for the Chennai Port Authority.
