Age Limit for ESIC Recruitment 2024:

• The candidates applying for the post of specialist and super-specialist should not exceed the age of 69 years.
• The candidates applying for the Senior Residents position should not exceed the age of 45 years.

Qualification and Experience Required for ESIC Recruitment 2024:

The candidates must meet the mentioned below requirements the educational qualification and experience as per the posts in line with the official notification of ESIC Recruitment 2024 –

Senior Resident (under Residency Scheme) –

• The candidates should have an MBBS with a PG Degree/ DNB/ Diploma or equivalent as per the residency scheme in the concerned speciality from a recognized University/ Institution.

Full-Time Specialist on a contract basis for one year (extendable up to 3 years, subject to satisfactory performance) / Part-Time Specialist on a contract basis for one year OR till Regular Specialist joins, whichever is earlier –

• The candidates should have a Post Graduate Degree/ DNB or Diploma in their respective speciality after MBBS with MCI registration.

Experience –

For Specialist (Jr. Level) –

• Three years of experience in the respective speciality for degree holders OR Five years of experience in the respective speciality for Diploma holders.

For Specialist (Sr. Level) –

• Five years of experience in the respective speciality for degree holders OR Seven years of experience in the respective speciality for Diploma holders.

Super-specialist (entry-level) –

• The candidates should have a recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
• M.Ch./ DM or equivalent in the concerned Super speciality.
• Candidates with at least three years of experience in the concerned super-speciality after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree will be considered for engagement.

Super-specialist (Senior consultant) –

• The candidates should have a recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956).
• M.Ch./ DM or equivalent in the concerned Super speciality.
• Candidates with at least five years of experience in the concerned super-speciality after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree will be considered for engagement.

Salary for ESIC Recruitment 2024:

The selected candidates will be given a monthly compensation as per the posts, listed below according to the official notification of ESIC Recruitment 2024 –

Full-Time Super Specialist –

• Junior/ Entry level – Rs.200000 per month.
• Consultant (Sr. Level) -Rs.240000 per month.

Part-Time Super-Specialist (Entry Level) –

• Junior/ Entry level – Rs.100000 per month + additional Rs.20000 admissible as visiting charges in case of emergency (if willing). Rs.1200 for every additional hour beyond 16 hrs (4 days X 4 hours) a week subject to the justification to the competent authority.
• Consultant (Sr. Level) – Rs.150000 per month + additional Rs.20000 admissible as visiting charges in case of emergency (if willing). Rs.1500 for every additional hour work beyond 16 hrs (4 days X 4 hours) a week subject to justification of competent authority.

Full-Time Specialist –

• Basic pay of Rs.78800 as per 7th CPC (Level-12) + other allowances as admissible under the rules per month for Specialist (Sr. Level) with 5 years’ experience post PG as per RR.
• Basic pay of Rs.67700 as per 7th CPC (Level-11) + other allowances as admissible under the rules per month for Specialist (Jr. Level) with 3 years’ experience post PG as per RR.

Part-Time Specialist (with no case-to-case) –

• Remuneration – Rs.60000 per month. Additional Rs.15000 admissible as visiting charges in case of emergency (if willing). Rs.800 for an additional every hour beyond 16 hours, subject to the justification to the competent authority.

Senior Resident (under Residency Scheme) –

• Basic Pay of Rs.67700 (Level-11) as per 7th CPC + other allowances as admissible under the rules per month.

Pay will/ may be revised as per orders/ instructions issued by the ESIC Headquarters Office from time to time.

Tenure for ESIC Recruitment 2024:

The term of appointment will be carried out on a contractual basis as shown in the official notification of ESIC Recruitment 2024. The tenure according to the posts is listed below –

Full-Time Specialist –

• Specialists shall be recruited for a period of 3 years with annual evaluation and the term is renewed every year based on satisfactory performance.

Part-Time Specialist (with no case-to-case) –

• The period of the contract is one year from the date of joining.

Part-Time Super-Specialist (Entry Level) –

• The Super-specialist may be engaged on a part-time contract basis with consolidated remuneration for a period of one year.

Full-Time Super Specialist –

• The Super-specialist may be engaged on a full-time contract basis with consolidated remuneration for a minimum period of three years. The contract would be extendable yearly based on satisfactory performance.

Selection Procedure for ESIC Recruitment 2024:

The committee will conduct a walk-in interview to determine the eligibility of the candidates for ESIC Recruitment 2024. The candidates will not get any TA/ DA for attending the interview process.
