Exemption for payment of tax under reverse charge mechanism (RCM)

Further extension of Exemption for payment of tax under reverse charge mechanism (RCM) The Central Government, on the recommendation of the Council, on being satisfied to do so for public interest, by exercising the powers conferred under section 11(1) of the CGST Act, 2017, vide Notification No. 12/2018 Central Tax (Rate) dated 29.06.2018, has extended the exemption of liability to pay tax under Reverse Charge Mechanism under section 9(4) of the CGST Act, 2017 from 30.06.2018 to 30.09.2018. Notifications issued till date for payment of tax under reverse charge mechanism (RCM) under section 9(4) is summarised below:
