Extend due date of filing Return under GST due to COVID – 19: ICAI The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has requested Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs to provide appropriate relaxation to the registered person and extend due dates of filing all returns under GST, which fall in month of March and April, 2020 till 30th April, 2020. This would provide needed relaxation to the trade, in combating the circumstances arising out of Coronavirus. It is evident that the epidemic COVID – 19 (Coronavirus) has affected the entire world including India. Many offices have been closed, while others are working partially. Life has almost comes to standstill, people are afraid of going outside their home. The Word Health Organisation (WHO) has announced COVID – 19 outbreak a pandemic. Therefore, we request your goodself to provide appropriate relaxation to the registered person and extend due dates of filing all returns under GST, which fall in month of March and April, 2020 till 30th April, 2020.
