FCI Recruitment 2022: FCI, which is also abbreviated as Food Corporation of India, is a statutory body created and run under the jurisdiction of the Government of India. It was set up in the year 1965 with its initial headquarters located in Chennai. The organization is currently accepting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of General Manager (Engineering) on a re-employment basis.
Those who are civil engineers superannuated from Central Govt/State Government/PSU and fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post will be considered eligible for recruitment in the department. There are a total number of 2 vacancies for the mentioned post and the official notification for recruitment has been issued on the official website of the company. The engagement of the selected candidate will be considered valid for an initial period of one year, which then be extended further for one more year or up to the age of 62 years, whichever is earlier on the basis of satisfactory performance.
The place of posting will be Delhi NCR /Chennai/ Mumbai/Kolkata/Guwahati, and the working hours will be from 0930 hrs to 1800 hrs on all weekdays (Monday to Friday) except holidays. It is also noteworthy that the pay scale granted on account of MACP will not be considered for eligibility for re-employment. And Persons who have held charge of the Civil Engineering Division of Central / State Govt./Industrial Establishment / Public Sector Undertakings and have experience in planning and execution of civil projects can also apply.
The age of the candidates who are going to apply for the post vacant in the FCI recruitment 2022 should be between the preferred age criteria, i.e., below 61 years as of the date of the receipt of the applications.
The candidate selected for the post will draw a lumpsum amount equivalent to basic pay, as the remuneration at the time of superannuation, which will be reduced by the basic pension drawn by him/her, in case of Officers superannuated from the Government sector in the CDA pattern or fixed remuneration of Rs. 80,000/- per month, in case the Officer superannuated from CPSE with IDA pay scales. Also, the appointee shall not be entitled to any dearness allowance, increment, HRA, and other allowances as admissible to the Central Govt. /State Govt. / PSUs servants.
The candidates who will get shortlisted will be called to appear before the Interview Board, constituted by FCI, on the date and time communicated in advance. The selection will be based on the eligibility of the candidates.
