Overview:

ABB is hiring an experienced Senior Finance Specialist – General Accounting at their Bangalore location. You will be working as Senior Finance Analyst, reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager for Finance Operational Service division based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible to support accounting and reporting matters to business or reporting units through resolution of accounting and reporting questions, financial statement reviews and preparation as well as follow-up on accounting issues.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions

Performing reconciliations of accounts and get to details for any discrepancies

Performing accounting related analysis and generating reports to support finance queries

Performing month end book closing and reporting activities

Assisting team leader during the audits

Performing such other activities as required to meet the stake holder’s requirement

Qualifications for this Job:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (Master’s degree will be an added advantage)

Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries

Must have experience in Record to Report (R2R) and SAP

Must be flexible to work for any shift timings

Good communication skills

Working knowledge in MS office
