Overview:

Ford is hiring eligible and interested applicants for the post of Product Manager at their Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (On-site)location.

Selection Criteria:

• Hands on Experience with ETL architecture and IBM Cloud Pak/Data stage (Must)
• Good in Writing SQL queries for analyzing and validating the data.
• Must have good understanding on GCP, Terraform and GitHub.
• Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.

Nice to have

• Has experience in Data modeling and solutioning (design and implementation) for medium to large scale products
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, Outstanding problem solver.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Have a thorough knowledge of working in Agile environments and adopt to multiple itineraries running in concurrency

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deliver data integration/data extraction solutions using IBM Cloud Pak/Datastage/DataFlow/DataProc.
• Experience in integrating various data sources like GCP Postgres, Big Query, SQL Server,DB2 and Data Warehouse platforms & Flat files.
• Have a hands-on approach to solving problems; when required, be able to lead-by-example-type of person in developing snippets of the
  code that team can use and follow
• Maintain and constantly refine the Production failures and escalations; be able to capture, articulate and create knowledge base of
• Production ETL functioning and potential points of failures.
• Ensure business requirements are met, validates correct information boundaries, integrity, security, accuracy and use of information,
  coordinates cross-application database changes.
• Produces logical and physical data models following corporate information/data guidelines, standards and procedures.
• Debug data quality issues by analyzing the upstream sources and provide guidance to data integration team resolutions.
• Independently lead global projects and interact with business customers.
• Good experience in Astronomer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field.
• 7 to 9 years’ experience in a similar role.
