GATE 2025: Admit Card To be Released on January 7, 2025, Know Related Details

GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has delayed the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 Admit Card release date. Earlier the GATE 2025 Admit Card was scheduled to be issued today, January 02, 2025, but now as per the recent reports, the authority will issue the admit card on January 07, 2025. Once released, eligible candidates who have successfully registered for the GATE 2025 Exam will be able to access their Admit Card at the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. On the day of the exam, candidates are compulsory to bring their printed-out GATE 2025 Admit Card on A4-size paper along with an original, valid photo identity proof. Candidates must not point out that at the exam centre, no candidate will be allowed to enter with a Photocopy/scanned copy of the ID card or expired ID card.

Candidates are requested to not carry any sort of electronic devices at the examination hall such as Personal calculators, Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches and such materials. Along with these, Books, charts, tables, loose sheets, papers, data or handbooks, pouches or boxes are also not allowed. Any activities related to cheating found at the examination hall can lead to the cancellation of the entire exam. The official notification released stated that “GATE 2025 Admit Card Download will be available from 7th January 2025.”

On the ATE 2025 Admit Card, candidates must check details such as their names, Paper combinations, Photograph, Signature and Exam centre details. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 examinations are scheduled to be conducted from February 1 and 16, 2025. The GATE 2025 exams will include a total of 30 tests. The entire exam will be held in two sessions, the first session will be held in the Forenoon from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the other one will held in the Afternoon from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level entrance examination that is conducted every year to provide students admission into the technical postgraduate programs in Indian universities. The exam is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technologies at Roorkee, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai (Madras) and Mumbai (Bombay) on the behalf of National Coordination Board.
