• Candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience of construction/maintenance of Track in Railways/Metro including experience of construction/maintenance of Ballastless track.

• Candidates should have relevant post qualification experience of co-ordination work at an apex level in the Govt. of India/PSUs and should have experience in big railway/metro projects and hands on experience in developmental issues in new projects.
• Applicant should also be conversant with the functioning in a computerized environment. Hands on knowledge of various computer applications, related to the job, would be desirable.

Tenure for GMRC Recruitment 2025:

Chief General Manager/General Manager (Track)

• Candidate will be appointed on Contract / Deputation basis, for a period of 3 years, extendable to 5 years, or till the date of Superannuation whichever is earlier.
• Candidate will be appointed on  post-superannuation basis, the period of appointment will be for 3 years or till the attainment of 62 years whichever is earlier.

For Contract:

• Candidate will get a Rs.120000 to Rs.280000 (IDA Pattern) and other allowances /perks /entitlements as applicable for the post as per GMRCL.

For deputation:

• As per standard terms and Conditions of deputation.

For Post-superannuation:

• Consolidated pay for retired officers from Govt. organization.

For Contract:

Selection Process for GMRC Recruitment 2025:
