Goa Police Recruitment 2023: Monthly Salary up to 52400, Check Posts, Qualification and How to Apply
Goa Police Recruitment 2023: Goa Police Department is hiring eligible candidates for the posts of Scientific Officer (DNA), Scientific Assistant (DNA), and Laboratory Technician. As per the official Goa Police Recruitment 2023 notification, there are only 3 vacancies for these posts. The recruitment will be on a contractual basis.
The last date for submission of the application is 2nd March 2023, between 10:30 am to 1 pm and 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. on all working days. Applicants must send their applications along with his/her recently self-attested passport-size photograph in the space provided on the application form, which shall be submitted by hand delivery/ through postal delivery in the Goa Forensic Science Laboratory, Near Verna Police Station, Verna, Salcete, Goa, 403722.
As per the official Goa Police Recruitment 2023, Goa Police Department is recruiting eligible candidates for the posts of:
1. Scientific Officer (DNA) – 1
2. Scientific Assistant (DNA) – 1
3. Laboratory Technician – 1
The post-wise qualification has been mentioned below:
1. Scientific Officer (DNA)
Essential:
a. Master’s degree in Science with at least Second Class in Zoology/ Microbiology/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Forensic Science with Zoology as one of the subjects at the Bachelor of Science level from a University recognized by UGC.
b. Should possess at least 5 years of practical experience in DNA fingerprinting in any State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory.
c. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
Doctorate degree in the concerned discipline from a university recognized by the UGC.
2. Scientific Assistant (DNA)
a. Master’s degree in Science with at least Second Class in Zoology/ Microbiology/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Forensic Science with Zoology as one of the subjects at the Bachelor of Science level from a University recognized by UGC.
b. Should possess at least 3 years of research/ analytical experience in DNA fingerprinting in any State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory.
c. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
Doctorate degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.
3. Laboratory Technician
a. Bachelor of Science with at least Second Class from a University recognized by UGC.
b. Minimum 2 years practical experience in any Central/ State Forensic Science Laboratory.
c. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Post-wise information regarding the monthly consolidated salary has been given below:
1. Scientific Officer (DNA) – Rs 52400 per month
2. Scientific Assistant (DNA) – Rs 33600 per month
3. Lab Technician – Rs 23700 per month
As per the official Goa Police Recruitment 2023 notification, the recruitment will be on a contractual basis for the period of 1 year or till the posts are filled on a regular basis, whichever is earlier.
