Good News! ICAI Opens One-Day Window for Submission of MEF Form 2026-27 at meficai.org :

The ICAI has officially opened the one-day window for the submission of the MEF Form 2026-27 at meficai.org, providing members with one last opportunity.
ICAI Requests All Members Not to Miss This Opportunity

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially opened the one-day window for the submission of the Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) at https://meficai.org/, providing members with one last opportunity.
The form is open for filing from 15th October (Midnight) to 16th October, 2026 (Midnight) only. This major action has been taken considering the requests of members regarding deadline extension who could not complete the MEF filing process within the earlier prescribed time limit.
The institute has advised all concerned members to take advantage of this opportunity, as this is the final chance; after this, no further extension will be granted.
The ICAI announcement dated October 14, 2026, states that "considering the requests received from members who could not submit the MEF 2026-27 due to various reasons, it has been decided to give last opportunity to submit the MEF application for the year 2026-27.
Accordingly, all the members who wish to submit their application can do so on 15th October (Midnight) to 16th October 2026 (Midnight). The link for submission [will be open on 15th October (Midnight) to 16th October, 2026 (Midnight) only]: https://meficai.org/."
