Government Increases Dearness Allowance for Government Employees to 31%

The state government of Madhya Pradesh has agreed to boost the Dearness Allowance of state government employees with effect from April, according to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. We have decided to raise the DA for government employees to 31%, and payment will begin in April, Chouhan remarked. We were unable to provide full DA to government employees due to the coronavirus crisis, Chouhan said, adding that now that the situation is gradually returning to normal, the administration has chosen to provide 31 percent DA. Chouhan also stated that the state government will provide an additional 25,000 to female students as part of the "Ladli Laxmi plan" when they enrol in college. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1500123537545494529?s=20&t=wC4-RQt-4fcNphEgZV0Ldw Source: Live Mint and ANI
