. These officers will have authority within their specified jurisdictions to handle and settle certain offences as allowed under the law. The Labour Ministry has taken this action in exercise of its powers granted under sub-section (1) of section 114 of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (OSHWC) Code, 2020 (37 of 2020), and announced the same through a Notification No. S.O. 2507(E), dated May 13, 2026.
