Govt Extends RoDTEP Scheme for Exporters Till Dec 31, 2026, Existing Rates and Value Caps Remain Unchanged:

The DGFT has extended the RoDTEP Scheme for eligible exports from September 30 to December 31, 2026, with existing rates, value caps and other conditions unchanged.
Exporters Get More Time as RoDTEP Scheme

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Commerce), Government of India has announed extension in the due date of the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme for exporters from September 30, 2026, to December 31, 2026, vide a Notification No. 41/2026-27, dated September 30, 2026.
The government has taken this action in exercise of its powers granted under Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, as amended, read with Paragraph 1.02 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, as amended from time to time.
This extension pertains to the exports made by Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) units, Advance Authorisation (AA) holders, Special Economic Zone (SEZ) units and Export Oriented Units (EOUs).
The authority has clarified that the existing RoDTEP rates and value caps as notified in Appendix 4R and Appendix 4RE will remain unchanged during the period mentioned above. Along with this, the other terms and conditions concerning the scheme will remain as it is.
According to the notification, "the RoDTEP Scheme is extended and shall apply to eligible exports from DTA, AA, SEZ, and EOU units up to 31st December 2026."
