Govt Mandates All Employers to Report Job Vacancies to Concerned Career Centres
The Ministry of Labour and Employment has mandated all employers in both the public and private sectors to report job vacancies to the concerned career centres.
This aforementioned decision has been announced by the government in pursuance of its powers granted under sub-section (1) of section 139 of the Code on Social Security, 2020 (36 of 2020), through an Official Notification No. S.O. 2341(E), dated May 08, 2026.
According to the notification, the said requirement has been scheduled to take effect after 90 days from the date of issuance of the present notification. The key aim of this action is to enhance employment tracking and strengthen the connection between employers and job seekers through career centres across the country.
