The government has decided to exclude lithograde aluminium coils with a width above 1150 mm from the imposition of anti-dumping duties. This means that the specified Lithograde Aluminium Coils will no longer attract the anti-dumping duty. This amendment is made in an earlier notification dated 6th December 2021. In December 2021, the central government, based on the recommendations by the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), imposed an anti-dumping duty on 'Certain Flat Rolled Products of Aluminium' exported by China. This was done to protect the Indian manufacturers from cheaper imports.

However, based on an order dated 7th July 2025 passed by the Delhi High Court, the DGTR amended its findings through a notification dated 10th December 2025 and recommended excluding 'Lithograde Aluminium Coils of width above 1150 mm' from the imposition of anti-dumping duty. Accordingly, the Central Government, based on the said recommendation of DGTR, has made an amendment to the notification dated 6th December, 2021, by removing anti-dumping duty on Lithograde Aluminium Coils.
