GPSC Recruitment 2023:The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is accepting applications for eligible applicants for the position of Superintendent in Fisheries Class- 2. Referring to the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the applicant’s upper age limit must be 40 years for the mentioned post. Interested candidates have to deposit an application fee the candidates of the General Category have to pay Rs.100 plus applicable postal charges or Rs.100 plus service charges.
In accordance with the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, there are a total of 02 seats available for the stated position. The candidate must have a Graduate degree in Fisheries Science or a Master’s degree in Science. Based on the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the applicants will be chosen based on interviews. In order to apply for GPSC Recruitment 2023, the selected applicants will be given a monthly salary on the Pay scale of Rs.44,900 to Rs.1,42,400 (Level-8).
Age Limit for GPSC Recruitment 2023:
In accordance with the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s maximum age limit must not be 40 years for the given post.
Based on the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates of the General Category have to pay Rs.100 plus applicable postal charges or Rs.100 plus service charges through online mode as an Application fee. Candidates of the Reserved Category of Gujarat Origin only, candidates who are physically disabled, ex-servicemen, and Economically Weaker Sections have not to pay the application fee.
Qualification and Experience for GPSC Recruitment 2023:
Referring to the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the required educational qualifications and experience are mentioned below:
The candidate must have post Graduate degree in Fisheries Science or in Master’s degree in Science with one of the following principal subjects namely (i) Fisheries Resource Management, (ii) Aquatic Biology (iii) Mari Culture, (iv) Post Harvest Technology (v) Marine Science or (vi) Zoology or a 2-year postgraduate diploma in Fisheries Science obtained From any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institute recognised as such or declared to be a deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and
The candidate should have about 3 years of experience on the post not below the rank of Fisheries Officer (General) Class III in the Government Fisheries Department. or have about 3 years separate or combined experience in the management of Fisheries or modern methods of preservation processing or marketing of fish in Government/ Local Bodies/ Government Undertaking/ Board/ Corporation/ Limited Company established by law in India/ Registered Organization on the post which can be considered equivalent to the aforesaid post of Fisheries Officer (General), Class III, or equivalent post in the Government Fisheries Department.
The candidate should have a degree in Fisheries Science or a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Fisheries Resource Management or Zoology as a principal subject obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India, or any other educational Institution recognised as such or declared to be a deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956;
The candidate must have about 5 years of experience on the post not below the rank of Fisheries Officer (General), Class III, in the Government Fisheries Department, or have about five years of separate or combined experience in the management of Fisheries or modern methods of preservation processing or marketing of fish in Government/ Local Bodies/ Government Undertaking/ Board/ Corporation/ Limited Company established by law in India/ Registered Organization on the post which can be considered equivalent to the aforesaid post of Fisheries Officer (General), Class III, or equivalent post in Government Fisheries Department.
The candidate should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati Hindi or both.
The candidate should have the basic knowledge of computer Applications as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
