GPSC Recruitment 2023: GPSC (Gujarat Public Service Commission) is inviting online applications from highly intelligent and laborious candidates for the post of Associate Professor in various medical subjects. As per the official notification for GPSC Recruitment 2023, this post belongs to Class-I of the General State Service of Gujarat. Some of the subjects in which vacancies are available for the above-mentioned post are Orthopaedics, Urology, Nephrology, Paediatric Surgery, Cardiology, etc. GPSC has released a total of 65 vacancies for this post which are distributed in various subjects and different categories. The vacancies are available in various Government Medical Colleges, attached Medical hospitals, and institutions under Health & Family Welfare Department. Eligible candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience as Assistant Professor, Class I in the concerned subject for Super Speciality subjects and a minimum of four years of experience as Assistant Professor, Class I in the concerned subject for Specialities subjects.
According to the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit to apply for the available vacancies is 44 years. The age limit is relaxable for reserved candidates as per the rules. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary as per Pay Matrix-13 A which is equal to Rs 1,31,400 per month. Candidates should also have basic knowledge of computer applications and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both. GPSC will select the best candidates on the basis of a Preliminary Test and an Interview. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 to submit their application, as stated in the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023. As mentioned in the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, eligible candidates should have obtained an MS/MD/DNB degree in the concerned subject (after MBBS) in the concerned specialty for specialty subjects or DM/DNB/MCh degree in the concerned subject for super specialty subjects from a university/institute/educational institution fully recognized by the government and accredited by the MCI. Candidates should also have basic knowledge of computer applications and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
