Overview:
Levi Strauss & Co. is hiring for an experienced Financial Analyst at their Bangalore location. his position is responsible for monthly accounting activity including accruals, both purchase order management and invoice processing, and manual journal entry preparation. The Financial Analyst will act as the key partner with the GBS, GCC & Real Estate Finance Manager for cost savings and growth opportunity projects that impact operating expenses. The monthly analysis will be performed of business performance to ensure results of operations are accurately recorded and reported to management in compliance with GAAP.

What will you be doing:
- Develop annually, quarterly, and monthly financial plans for the Global Business Services, Global Capability Center, and Real Estate
- Perform monthly and quarterly financial reviews to analyze variances and provide variance explanations
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly accruals, re-class journal entries, purchase order receiving, billing schedule and invoice reconciliation, fixed asset creation, and third-party vendor rate card SOW approvals
- Partner with Finance managers to achieve annual and quarterly targets
Qualifications for this job:
- CA with Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in financial planning, forecasting and financial analysis
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment but also independently, managing multiple tasks and completing deadlines with minimal supervision
What skills are needed:
- Ability to partner with manager and Sr. Director levels in all functional departments for all finance related responsibilities
- Dynamic analytical, attention to detail, problem solving, and project management abilities with proven systems knowledge
- Continuously improve planning, forecasting, reporting processes, and systems, including data integrity
- Strong knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Essbase, with experience in creating specialized ad hoc reports
- Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes and requests
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
