Overview:

Levi’s is hiring an experienced Analyst- Intercompany Accounting at their Bangalore location. The intercompany/Treasury team works globally to coordinate/process a variety of recurring and one-off transactions between Levi’s affiliates and regions, which enable individuals to be exposed to various business activities and projects.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand and facilitate accounting for intercompany activities, including recharges and settlements.
• Communicate intercompany activity with business partners
• Identify and coordinate intercompany accounting issue resolution
• Understand and treasury functions and reporting
• Prepare and manage GL reconciliation preparation and review
• Coordinate and prepare intercompany closing entries
• Review intercompany variance analysis and coordinate resolution of issues

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an environment with multiple entities, both domestic and international
• Proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office software; SAP Experience preferred
• CPA a plus
• Excellent knowledge of accounting procedures & principles and GAAP requirements
• Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and facilitate communication between various groups
• Keen analytical skills to identify transaction issues, propose potential solutions, and perform trend analysis
• Ability to teach, train and coach group members
• Capability to build relationships and collaborate internally and externally
