Overview:

Cisco is hiring an experienced Data Analyst – Global Supplier Management at their Bangalore location. The GSM is part of Supply Chain Operations and is responsible for sourcing and costing activities from a Manufacturing perspective. The GSM team ensures continuity of supply, quality and develops the commodity strategies for the hundreds of products that Cisco manufactures. The team maintains close relationship with component suppliers and strongly collaborates to consistently drive innovation, productivity, and efficiency.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

Education and Experience:

• Graduate in Engineering
• PG or Certification in Data Analytics / Data Science
• 5 to 8 years’ experience of Business Analytics/Data Analytics in Supply Chain
• Hands on Experience on ERP (Oracle, SAP) with excellent written & verbal communication skills, business acumen and program management skills
• Strong Analytical Skills, Knowledge on Tableau Other analytical tools/ BI software’s
• Experience in Data analytics using SQL, Python etc.
• Experience in HW Manufacturing / Product development industry is preferred

What you’ll do:

• High Level Responsibilities:
• Drive Analytics Projects/ Tasks, developing joint analytical approaches, Mentoring team members, Project/task execution
• Use data to identify opportunities to improve Cost Operations/E2E Cost, Reduce Cost Gaps, enable deeper analysis on cost negotiations
  Enable task automation
• Build recommendation models to influence business decisions
• evaluating Reports on status & identifying gaps.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Business Knowledge on Supply Chain & Sourcing/Supplier management function within supply chain.
• 3-5 years’ experience in analytical role
• Experience in Python , Sql or other scripts
• \xperience in Tableau or other BI tools
• Knowledge on ERP & RFQ management software’s like SAP, Oracle, Ariba etc…
• Overall knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures with basic understanding of manufacturing industry
