Overview:

Cargill is hiring an experienced Assistant Manager – Customer Service at their Pune location. The Assistant Manager – Customer Service, will support a moderate scale of customer service activities for a single site team. In this role, you will contribute to optimizing and monitoring shipping and returns, including processing complex orders from customers and resolving order or delivery issues.

What will you be doing:

Maintain systems and relationships that meet customer demand forecast, as well as other databases related to shipments and inventory management.

Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth

Inform customers about order status, invoices, contract balances and other information needed to complete the sale.

Execute customer service strategies.

Provide support to improvement projects and commitments requiring a basic understanding of customer service practices and procedures.

Develop service procedures, policies and standards

Delivering key KPIs. i.e., OTIF, Order TAT, Product freshness.

Close coordination with other functions to achieve collaborative goals.

Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications for this Job:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Other minimum qualifications may apply

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain/logistics, or equivalent experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Good understanding of management practices and techniques.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
