Overview:

HP is hiring an experienced Bus Operations Analyst II at their Bangalore location. Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

  • Ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve variety of common business issues.
  • Understands regulatory requirements and stays compliant with HPI’s standards and guidelines.
  • Understands Businesses requirements and guidelines and be able to come up with solutions / improvements.
  • Perform RPL entity Screening and maintain high levels of quality and drive team efficiencies.
  • Responsible for following all due diligence procedures/processes.
  • Actively support manager/lead in reporting requirements and provide production data to ensure accurate monthly metrics.
  • Actively generate performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Proactively update processes documents
  • Be focal point for escalations from HUB to Other areas in GT as required.
  • Develop tracking tools supporting internal functions / activities (Smartsheet, Power BI)
  • Supports open communication through active participation in team meetings, staff meetings, and other internal group forums.
  • Encourages open discussion among colleagues through professional courtesy, good listening skills, and non-confrontational behavior.
  • Works on problems/projects of moderately complex scope.
  • Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
  • Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input.
  • Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and comes with recommendations/solutions.
  • Communicate requirements/guidelines to global business units/peers and other functional teams and interact with SMEs and action process improvements.
  • Analysis of backlog management.
  • Be able to provide training to new team members as required.
  • Provide adequate back-up support to team leads.
  • Handling escalation from Business units
  • Being a backup for seniors/leads
  • Demonstrates awareness of the basic IT controls (security, business continuity, raising IT tickets)

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain function.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge on RPL Screening, License determination and Embargoed Screening.
  • Active Listening skills
  • Solid communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Team player who is willing to take on a variety of tasks.
  • Developing Project and Time management skills to enable efficient completion of multiple tasks/assignments.
  • Recognize high priority issues and escalate accordingly .
  • Creative and critical thinking capability
  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of GTS/SAP/S4
  • Developing Project Management Skills.
  • Focused on details.
  • Ability to work remotely and virtually via telecommunications and internet tools with minimum supervision.
  • Advanced web research skills to supplement audit comments.
