Overview:

S&P Global is hiring an experienced Apprentice-Data Analyst at their Gurgaon location. As member of our team for an 11-month period, you will get an opportunity to work on visualization/reporting technologies, Scripting, and programming languages to produce one-time and cyclical deliverables for both internal and external clients. The team member will be responsible for collaborating in the software development lifecycle including Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Identify process improvements within products and work to automate existing processes
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products or deliverables to meet customer needs
• Anticipates product or deliverable release problems and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured use cases
• Identify, record, and document thoroughly

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Course knowledge of Data Management, analytics, business intelligence, consulting, and/or strategy building
• Knowledge in data visualization software, preferably Tableau
• Knowledge in scripting language (e.g., Python, UNIX) & SQL/PLSQL insights along with a solid understanding of relational databases
• Problem-solving, self-motivation, and a drive for learning
• Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of coworkers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
