GST Collections Jump 15.4% to Rs 2.11 Lakh Crore in July 2026; Haryana Tops State-Wise Growth:

India's GST collections surged 15.4% to Rs 2.11 lakh crore in July 2026, with Haryana leading state-wise growth and imports driving strong revenue gains.
Haryana Emerges as Fastest-Growing State

India's gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) Revenue has reached at Rs 2,11,205 crore in July 2026; last month it was Rs 1,83,065 crore. Meaning, there is an overall increase of 15.4% in revenue collection in comparison to last month.
Domestic GST revenue stood at Rs 1,44,695 crore, registering a 10.1% year-on-year growth from Rs 1,31,439 crore in July 2025. GST collected on imports recorded a much sharper increase of 28.8%, rising to Rs 66,511 crore from Rs 51,626 crore in the corresponding month last year.
If we consider the SGST & the SGST portion of IGST settled to States/UTs in July 2026, Meghalaya has recorded the highest growth in Pre-Settlement SGST at 32%. Similarly, Haryana is at the top of this list with 28% growth in Post-Settlement SGST.
For the period April to July 2026, gross GST collections reached Rs 8,42,905 crore, compared to Rs 7,65,607 crore in the same period of the previous financial year, recording a 10.1% increase. Net GST revenue for the four-month period also grew 9.2% to Rs 7,21,457 crore, while total refunds increased 15.8% to Rs 1,21,448 crore.
Among states, Haryana recorded the highest growth in state-wise GST revenue during July 2026 at 25%. Gujarat and Telangana are in the second rank (growth recorded at 19%, 6% less than Haryana). Punjab, Jharkhand and Kerala are on the third rank in the growth list (16%), and Uttar Pradesh is on the fourth rank (15%). Maharashtra, the largest GST-contributing state, reported a 13% increase, with collections rising to Rs 32,210 crore.
