Recovers Rs. 27.5 Crore in Coal Tax Case Linked to Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain’s family in Bilaspur The Chhattisgarh State GST department recently carried out an intensive search operation against Ankita Lokhande and her husband, Vicky Jain. The operation was connected to a coal company linked to Vicky Jain’s business family in Bilaspur. The department conducted raids at several premises in Bilaspur, which concluded with a total tax liability of Rs. 27.5 crore. Three major coal trading groups agreed to pay the said unpaid taxes, according to media reports.

The raids were carried out as a result of the instructions given by Mukesh Bansal, State GST Secretary. Thereafter, simultaneous searches were conducted at 11 locations associated with Mahavir Coal Washery, Feel Coal, and Paras Coal and Beneficiation. The operations began on December 12 morning and continued till late at night. In operation, the GST department included offices, residential premises, washeries, and industrial plants. During the course of the search operation, the family, Ankita and Vicky, agreed to pay about Rs. 10 crore. The next day, they deposited another Rs. 11 crore. A separate coal washery also agreed to pay Rs. 6.5 crore. This resulted in a total amount of Rs. 27.5 crore. In initial findings, the GST department discovered tax input manipulation.

Yesterday, on December 16, 2025, was the fourth wedding anniversary of Ankita and Vicky. On the day, a personal message was written by Ankita. A video was also posted by Ankita, which included glimpses of their married life. Recently, Vicky produced his first Bollywood film, Haq, in which Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi are playing lead roles. Lastly, this couple was seen in Laughter Chef's Seasons 1 and 2. The couple has also participated in television shows like Smart Jodi and Big Boss 19.
