GST Portal Update: Functionality to file LUT for FY 2025-26 now available on GST Portal

In a latest development, the GST portal has recently updated a functionality on its portal for the GST taxpayers. The functionality to file LUT (Letter of Undertaking) for FY 2025-26 is now available on GST Portal.

An LUT (Letter of Undertaking) in GST enables exporters to ship goods and services overseas without having to pay Integrated GST (IGST) up front. This approach improves cash flow by eliminating the requirement for tax payments before exports, avoiding the time-consuming return process.

All registered taxpayers who have zero-rated supply of goods or services have to furnish LUT in Form GST RFD-11 on the GST Portal before affecting such supply. The due date to file RFD-11 (LUT) for FY 2025-26 is 31st March 2025.
