In accordance with the Notification No. 09/2025 – Central Tax dated February 22, 2025, amendments have been introduced in Form GSTR-7 to include invoice-wise reporting beginning from January 1, 2025. This amendment will be made effective from January 01, 2025, that is the return period for April 2025 onwards.
To assist this amendment, the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) is currently working on developing and testing the new functionality for invoice-wise reporting in the GSTR-7 form. This revised feature will be added to the portal of GST soon.
Once the enhanced functionality is ready and made available on the portal, users will be officially notified.
