GST Revenue Collection Crosses Rs 2 lakh crore: Maharashtra Highest Finance ministy on wednesday claimed that India gross GST (Goods and Services Tax) collections striked an unbeaten record of 2.10 lakh crore in april, increasing by 12.4 percent on year on year basis. The record of GST this march endured 1.78 lakh crore whereas the last sky scraping record was 1.87 lakh crore which was in April,2023. There was an increase in growth by 13.4  percent in domestic transactions and by 8.3 percent growth in imports. In an interview with a news agency, the officials of Finance Ministry said that they did anticipated 2 lakh in april statistically. The standard collection of GST this financial year endured 1.68 lakh crore, which is more by 0.17 lakh crore compared to last financial year. The IGST sum of Rs 50,307 crore to central goods and services tax (CGST) and Rs 41,600 crore to state goods and services tax (SGST) has been vindicated.
