GSTN Enable facility to withdraw GST Refund Application on GST Portal
The Goods and Service Tax Network (GSTN) has released a new Online facility for Taxpayers to withdraw GST Refund Applications on GST Portal.
Form RFD-01W for withdrawing GST Refund Applications was notified by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) vide notification number 15/2021-CT dated 18.05.2021. The same has been made available now.
Now the refund application can be withdrawn if the taxpayer has made a mistake at the time of filing for GST Refund. Once Taxpayer withdraws the old application, the new application can be filed for quick processing.
The Form can be withdrawn up to the stage of acknowledgment of application in Form GST RFD-02.
