Salary for Gujarat Metro Rail Recruitment 2024:

The candidates who are selected for Gujarat Metro Rail Recruitment 2024 will be given a monthly salary as stated below-

For General Manager/Addl. General Manager (Traction)-

• The selected candidates on a contract basis will be given a monthly salary in IDA payscale 120000-280000/100000-260000.
• The selected candidates on a post-superannuation basis will be given a monthly salary on a consolidated pay basis.

For General Manager (E and M)-

• The selected candidates on a contract basis will be given a monthly salary in IDA payscale 120000-280000.
• The selected candidates on a post-superannuation basis will be given a monthly salary on a consolidated pay basis.

For Additional General Manager/Joint General Manager (Architect)-

• The selected candidates on a contract basis will be given a monthly salary in IDA payscale 100000-260000/90000-240000.
• The selected candidates on a post-superannuation basis will be given a monthly salary on a consolidated pay basis.

For Deputy General Manager (Civil –Safety)-

• The selected candidates on a contract basis will be given a monthly salary of Rs.70000-200000.

For Manager/Asst. Manager (Architect)-

• The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary of Rs.60000-180000/50000-160000.

Qualification and Experience for Gujarat Metro Rail Recruitment 2024:

The required qualifications and experience to apply for Gujarat Metro Rail Recruitment 2024 are given below-

For General Manager/Addl. General Manager (Traction)-

• The candidate must be a B.E /B. Tech (Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics/Industrial Electronics / Power Electronics or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.

Area of Experience- 

• The candidates should have relevant post-qualification experience in planning, preparation of technical specifications, administration of contracts, installation, testing, commissioning and statutory approvals of electric Traction/ HV Power systems in railways/metros /other PSUs / private sector. Also preferably be experienced with the latest electrical/rolling stock technologies of urban and suburb Rail Systems. 

For General Manager- 

• Applicants should have a minimum of 20 years of relevant post-qualification experience at the Executive Level in a reputed private organization OR 17 years of relevant postqualification experience at the Executive level in Government / PSU. 

For Addl. General Manager- 

• Applicants should have a minimum of 18 years of relevant postqualification experience at the Executive Level in a reputed private organization OR 16 years of relevant post-qualification experience at the Executive level in Government / PSU.

For General Manager (E and M)-

• Candidate must be a B.E /B. Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.

Area of Experience-

• Candidates should have relevant post-qualification experience in planning, preparation of technical specification, administration of contracts, installation, testing, commissioning and statutory approvals of electric systems in Railway Systems / Metro/LRT/ Sub-urban Rail.
• Applicants should have a minimum of 20 years of relevant postqualification experience at the Executive Level in a reputed private organization OR 17 years of relevant post-qualification experience at the Executive level in Government I PSUs.

For Additional General Manager/Joint General Manager (Architect)-

• Candidate must be B.Arch. graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.

Area of Experience-

• Candidate should have experience in planning and designing elevated/ underground metro stations/urban railway projects and checking conformity of station layout to NBC/NFPA standards. Candidates having experience of designing a large number of elevated Metro stations, which are in Operation with ample exposure to use design software like AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3D Max, Revit, BIM etc. will be preferred. In addition, the candidate shall be conversant with the procedures for obtaining statutory clearance from local authorities.

For Addl. General Manager-

• Applicants should have a minimum of 18 years of post-qualification experience at the Executive level in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering or 15 years of post-qualification experience of the Executive level in Government /PSU.

For Joint General Manager-

• Applicants should have a minimum of 16 years of post-qualification experience at the Executive level in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering, or 14 years of post qualification experience of the Executive level in Government /PSUs.

For Deputy General Manager (Civil –Safety)-

• Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with a Diploma/P.G. Diploma in Construction/Industrial Safety from an Institute recognized by State/Central Govt. or other Statutory authority.

Experience-

• Candidate should have relevant experience in civil – safety. Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant postqualification experience at the executive level in a reputed private organization OR 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience of the executive in Government / PSU.
• Candidates with experience of working in modern urban metro rail systems will be given preference.

For Manager/Asst. Manager (Architect)-

• Candidates must be B.Arch. graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.

Area of experience:

• Candidates should have experience in Architectural Planning and designing of Metro Stations, Architectural Planning and designing of Urban Infrastructure Commercial Projects, Optimization of Metro Station for better utilization of available space, Co-ordination with other teams such as MEP / Lift and Escalators / Civil etc., proof checking of various drawings, Co-ordination with the project contractor and other associated professional, Delivering project presentation, Sound knowledge of Auto CAD and Auto Desk. etc.

For Manager-

• Applicants should have a minimum of 9 years of relevant postqualification experience at the Executive Level in a reputed private organization OR 07 years of relevant post-qualification experience at the Executive level in Government / PSU.

For Asst. Manager-

• Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant postqualification experience at the Executive level in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering or 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience at the Executive level in Government / PSU.

Tenure for Gujarat Metro Rail Recruitment 2024:

The appointment of Gujarat Metro Rail Recruitment 2024 is made on a contract basis/On Deputation/On a post-superannuation basis and the selected candidates will be appointed for a period as mentioned below-

On Contract- 

• The selected candidates will be appointed for a period of three years extendable for a further period of two years based on the satisfactory performance and requirements. 

On Deputation-

• The selected candidates will be appointed for a period of three years extendable further as per deputation terms.

On a Re-employment/post-superannuation basis- 

• The selected candidates will be appointed for an initial period of two years – to be further extendable for additional terms/ periods subject to consistent good performance, conduct and requirement of the Project/ discretion of Management.
