H.G. Infra Engineering Wins Major GST Relief as Karnataka Tax Authority Drops Entire Rs 94 Crore Demand:

Karnataka tax authorities have dropped the entire Rs 94 crore demand against H.G. Infra Engineering, closing the SCN proceedings with NIL tax, interest and penalty.
SCN Proceedings Closed With NIL Demand

H.G. Infra Engineering Limited, on September 16, 2026, vide an announcement, had informed the stock exchanges [National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE)] that it had filed a detailed reply to a show cause notice (SCN) received by it from the Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Now, in relation to the same notice, the Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes on October 05, 2026, passed an order, dropping the entire demand of Rs 94 crore and closing the show cause notice proceedings with an NIL demand of tax, interest and penalty.
The company has made the aforementioned disclosure vide an Intimation dated October 06, 2026, issued under Regulations 30 and 51 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
