Overview:

HSBC is hiring an experienced AVP Credit Services at their Gurugram location. You will be responsible for recovery of Facility Advise Letters charges in timely manner and safeguard the Bank from potential loss on lending by ensuring that security documentation for accounts is obtained from the customers promptly as per FAL/Security Section of the CARM application.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

To ensure that the security documents are enforceable and in line with BIM Vol 3/ local regulations/ laws. To check that necessary charges have been created in the Bank’s favour. Also to ensure that security documents are loaded on HUB and are kept under dual control.

To liase with legal advisors, consortium banks and customers regarding various issues related to security documentation.

To assist  in collation of various Returns to be submitted to HHO/RBI/Internal Auditors.

To ensure highest levels of service to both internal and external customers, and with the objective of protecting the interests of the bank at all times within the spectrum of activities relating to Security Document checking, compliance with regulatory requirements, interface with the external auditors, and B&DD related support activities.

To supervise/look after the operational aspect of Credit i.e.  Loading of Limits on HUB, Loading of Auto reduction of limits with suggestions to improve existing processes on a regular basis.

Passing Entries for Provisioning/writeoff for Bad and Doubtful accounts

Develop a Business Continuity Plan ( BCP) for CDT Unit and conduct regular tests while noting the system performance, system up time, user training etc.

To ensure that security    documentation is obtained promptly and documents are valid and enforceable.

Checking of CARM    applications and ensuring that limits loaded are in line with approvals held.

To ensure all RBI/HHO/INM   returns pertaining to Security Documentation, Guarantees, Loans,   and Bad and Doubtful accounts are accurate and submitted on time.

To ensure that the security documents like Hold Covers/ CGTs  and DUL are renewed before their due dates.

To ensure that all security documents are properly recorded.

To ensure transactions are processed as per agreed SLAs and without any errors.

Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.

Qualifications for this Job:

This role requires a Graduate with 2-5 years of overall Banking exposure

People and Stakeholder Management

Strong communication ability.

JAIIB / CAIIB qualification would be beneficial
