On 26.03.22, Hyderabad Customs intercepted a male passenger foe smuggling gold worth Rs. 13.63 lakhs.
The accused was arriving by flight 6E-25 from Dubai.
Custom officials seized 255.6 grams of gold worth Rs. 13.63 lakhs from the accused.
Gold was coated with silver paint and it was concealed inside the supporting metal frame of the trolley bag.
The accused is under custody and further investigation is under progress.
