Hyderabad Customs Arrests a Passenger for Smuggling Gold worth Rs. 37.30 Lakhs
On 31.03.22, Hyderabad Customs intercepted a male passenger for smuggling gold worth Rs. 37.30 lakhs.
The accused was arriving by Air India Flight AI-952 from Dubai.
Based on suspicion Custom Officials search the accused and seized 6 gold bars weighing 699.5 grams worth Rs. 37.30.
Gold was concealed in his check-in baggage
The accused is under custody and further investigation is ongoing.
