IARI Recruitment 2022: Applications have been invited for Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Field-Cum-Lab Assistant under the Project “Effect of novel fertilizer formulations on productivity, biofortification and nutrient-use efficiency of major cereal rotations”. The Number of posts in the department is Two i.e one for Senior Research Fellow and One Post for Field Lab-Cum-Assistant.

The maximum Age Limit to Apply for the Post is 35 years for males and 40 years for females and Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is applicable as per Govt. of India/ICAR Rules. Candidates should e-mail their duly-signed complete bio-data and scanned self-attested copies of the original documents (mark sheet from Class X onward experience certificate no objection certificate from their current employer etc). Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the interview through email. The interview of shortlisted/eligible candidates will be held online on November 7, 2022, at 10.00 AM onwards at the Division of Agronomy, IARI, New Delhi 110012.

Qualification for IARI Recruitment 2022

1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Essential

Master’s degree in Agriculture and allied Sciences with 4 years /5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having a Postgraduate degree in basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of master’s degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience as mentioned eligibility.

Desirable

i.Doctoral degree in Agriculture and allied Agricultural Sciences.

ii. Knowledge in computer applications, data organization/management, skills of statistical analysis using SAS/SPSS/software

iii. Research experience in conducting field experiments as evident from published research papers

2. Field-Cum-Lab Assistant

Bachelor’s degree in Science

Desirable

i. Knowledge of computer applications, data organization/management

ii. Research experience in conducting field experiments

Note – Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim regular appointments/absorption in this institute or ICAR. Non‐maintenance of discipline and failure to perform the assigned duties will make the JRF liable for termination during the appointment period as per ICAR rules.
