ICAI advises members to update invalidated UDIN again: Due date for UDIN updation extended to 30th Sep 2022

ICAI advises members to update invalidated UDIN again: Due date for UDIN updation extended to 30th Sep 2022

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has advised members to try again to update those UDINs which have been invalidated earlier at the e-filing portal of the Income Tax Department now.

Presently, Various instances of invalidation of UDINs at the e-filing portal of Income Tax Department are being reported by Members. In view of these, certain technological changes have been made. The Members are advised to try again to update those UDINs which have been invalidated earlier at the e-filing Portal.

Members are likewise requested to immediately update all outstanding UDINs on the e-filing system. Please be aware that the deadline for updating UDINs has been extended until September 30, 2022 in order to provide CAs more time to accurately validate and upload UDINs.
