Recently, a post went viral on social media platforms, where a threat actor named "zowico" claimed to have gained control over the entire Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Examiners Portal at http://examiners.icaiexam.icai.org.
According to the attacker, he had obtained complete access to the following:
- Remote Code Execution (RCE) capabilities and super administrator access to the ICAI Portal
- More than 2 lakh records are available on the portal
- Full remote code execution and superadmin control of the portal
- Answer sheets of all students who appeared in May 2026
- Examiner profiles
- Marking schemes

Some rumour is afloat that data of CA Final exams have been compromised but there is no substance to it. Data are maintained by TCS and the same has been confirmed by TCS that no data compromised.
